Peer Review Procces
Peer Review Process
Article Publication Procedure
All articles submitted for publication in this journal undergo a series of assessment and editorial stages as outlined below:
Initial Screening
Once an article is submitted, it undergoes a preliminary screening process that includes verification of administrative completeness and conformity of the manuscript format with the journal’s submission guidelines. At this stage, a similarity check is also conducted using Turnitin software, with a maximum similarity tolerance of 25%.
Initial Editorial Decision
If the article is deemed complete and in accordance with the journal's guidelines, it will proceed to the next stage, and the editor will inform the author of its status. However, if the manuscript does not meet the initial requirements, it will be rejected. The author may resubmit the article after revising it according to the guidelines, with a revision deadline of one week.
Peer Review Process
Articles that pass the initial screening will be forwarded to peer reviewers (mitra bestari) who possess expertise in the subject matter of the manuscript. The review process typically takes between 3 to 4 weeks. This journal uses a double-blind review process, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from each other throughout the review process. Upon receiving the reviewers’ evaluations, the editor holds the authority to decide whether the article will be accepted, rejected, or returned to the author for revision based on the feedback provided.
Article Revision
If necessary, the revision process may occur more than once until a consensus is reached among the reviewer(s), editor, and author regarding the article's eligibility for publication.
Copyediting and Publication
Once the article is accepted, it proceeds to the final copyediting stage conducted by the editorial team. The edited article will then be published according to the journal’s predetermined publication schedule.
