Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

General Requirement

The author who would like to submit manuscript to Journal of Tropical Pharmacy and Chemistry redaction should pay attention by following general requirement:

  • The manuscript that was written should be related to the subject of Pharmacy Science and Health.
  • The manuscript is an original article (never published in another journal) as sources from the result of review or research and has a similarity of ≤25%..
  • Manuscript should be written in English.
  • The manuscript is accompanied by an abstract.
  • The manuscript is accompanied with keywords.
  • The delivery of the manuscript accompanied with a biography of the author, such as name, institution address (affiliation), and email address.
  • The manuscript was sent via online submission in the journal website which is https://jtpc.ff.unmul.ac.id , with registration online as a user.
  • The received manuscript would be selected by the editor. If necessary, the manuscript would be edited through consultation with the author.

Format and Systematics

The manuscript is submitted to the journal's editorial office in softcopy (Word) format, using the provided template:

The script is written with the following writing systematics:

  • Title (Palatino Linotype 16). The title must be specific, clear, concise, informative, and describe the substance or content of the writing. The title is made in Indonesian and English (bilingual),
  • Author's Name (font Perpetua 12 (Bold)). Authors must use their real names (not pseudonyms) and without titles. The corresponding author is marked with an asterisk (*).
  • Author Affiliation (Perpetua 12). Affiliation is the address of the institution/organization where the author works/creates/studies.
  • Correspondence (Perpetua 12). Correspondence contains the email address of the correspondent. Only One Allowed
  • Abstract Font perpetua, 12 pt, 1 space, Justify text, 1 column, maximum 200 word
  • Introduction Perpetua, 12 pt, 1 space, text alignment left and right, 1 column, citation arranged based on ordered citation found in article using citation system number in bracket [], with numbering Arabic number 1, 2, 3, and so on. The first citation found, given citation number 1, example citation become like this [1], and so on. Writing manuscript cites (citation) use ordering [Arabic number], examples [1] if one reference; [2], [3] if two references; [4], [5], [6] if three or more references in which order; and [1], [4], [7] for not ordered number. References/cites number arranged based on reference order which first time found in article. Writing citations for Science and Health journal manuscripts should use reference manager applications such as Mendeley, Endnote and others.
  • Method ( Perpetua 12) The part of the method is not copied directly from the thesis. The method is collection work from implementation of research, starting from implementation ways of data recruitment until data analysis
  • Results and Discussion (Perpetua 12). The content of the results and discussion is presented as a cohesive whole. Discussion is the comparison of the obtained results with existing concepts/theories. The content of the results and discussion includes statements, tables, images, diagrams, graphs, sketches, and so on.
  • Conclusion (Perpetua 12). The conclusion is a summary of the results of the research discussion that has been conducted.
  • Declarations
    Acknowledments ( Optional) Sample information of acknowledgement, for example informed to funding institutions (usually accompanied with contract number of research), scholarship provider, which encourage measurement of samples, and etc
    Author Contributions, Explain contribution from each author against the written article. Perpetua Font, 12 pt, 1 space, text alignment left and right, 1 column.
    Ethics, Write a number of SK Ethics and Institution which is responsible for issuing this SK.Perpetua Font, 12 pt, 1 space, text alignment left and right, 1 column.
    Conflict of Interest, Give a statement from the author about absence or presence of conflict of interest. Perpetua Font, 12 pt, 1 space, text alignment left and right, 1 column
    Funding Statement, Give a statement about your research fund. Perpetua Font, 12 pt, 1 space, text alignment left and right, 1 column.
  • Bibliography, Bibliography arranged based on citation order on article manuscript. The first reference found in manuscript given reference number 1. The style used is IEEE style.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
