ARCHIVING POLICY
Journal of Tropical Pharmacy and Chemistry conducts archive preservation through the Indonesia OneSearch service from the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia and GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital) from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Republic of Indonesia. Also, the Journal of Tropical Pharmacy and Chemistry archives galley documents on the Internet Archive via the Internet Archive Scholar service. This creates a distributed archiving system among the participating libraries and enables them to create permanent journal archives for preservation and restoration. Archive preservation ensures that all published documents remain accessible in the future if the journal website is disrupted and makes articles inaccessible. Authors can also save all versions of their work (submitted version, accepted version, and version of record) in their institutional repository or another repository of their choice, such as arXiv, bioRxiv, Figshare, or Zenodo, without embargo.
The Journal of Tropical Pharmacy and Chemistry keeps the complete, exact digital version of each paper published. Under current format standards, most files are kept in both XML and PDF. The electronic information for the Journal of Tropical Pharmacy and Chemistry (including the website and manuscripts) is archived in two separate sources managed by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Mulawarman. Readers can access content online on a primary server, while an additional source retains backup copies of the same content. These backup sources can be brought online in the event of a server failure, and the website is expected to be accessible again within 24-72 hours.
The Journal of Tropical Pharmacy and Chemistry, published by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Mulawarman, intends to publish its journal for the long term and anticipates doing so. The journal's articles will be stored online and available to readers for at least another 10 years if we are forced to stop publishing them owing to a rare, catastrophic scenario.
